End of my 2nd Trimester

Well, another dr's appointment, has come and gone. As of today, we are 27 weeks and 5 days along. I went in for my gestational diabetes testing this week and discovered my body just does not process glucose the way it should. My blood sugar was a little high, but nothing that can't be controlled with more attention to my diet. For those of you who know me well, it's a good thing I'm not a big sweets eater! I feel great, blood pressure is perfect, belly is 28 cm, and growing right on track. The last few days it feels as though Shooter is discovering new parts of his temporary home daily! Some days it seems like he likes my left side, some days my right, some days he feels like he's holding my ribs! He is definitely active when he gets the chance as long as I'm not running around cleaning or trying to stay busy. Dale and I are preparing to move back south, so the baby is very close to being born a Minnesotan! If things continue to go well, he will be born a Mississippian. We are being transferred to Pascagoula, MS and will be arriving there in May. We are getting very excited to meet the little guy, but figure a few more months in the incubator is probably necessary! We've been receiving all sorts of goodies in the mail from admirers of the baby, thank you so much, we love getting new things to add to his collection! We go back to the doctor the first week in April, so we'll update more then! Take care!
