Four Months Old!!!

Well, it has been a while since my last update....things are new and exciting! Peyton is growing as quickly as everyone has assured me he would. At his four month appointment this week, he weighed 17.5 pounds and measured 26 inches long! He's in the 75th percentile for both his height and weight. That means he is larger than 75% of boys his age!
We took our first family vacation to celebrate mine and Dale's third wedding anniversary. We went to Destin, Florida for a weekend away. It was so nice to spend time with my boys! Peyton did well travelling (it was only three hours) and enjoyed seeing new things. He even splashed in the water a little, but mostly enjoyed watching people on the beach and listening to all the sounds. It was a much needed break!
Peyton has really accomplished a lot of things since my last post. He is now rolling over all the time and even lifting himself up with his arms extended! He loves to suck on his toes and "help" Dale when he is in the bath. He loves splashing the water and "mooning" Mom and Dad! We also moved him into his own room about a month ago and he slept fine....Mom struggled with it more than Peyton. After a couple of weeks, I adjusted as well and we are all sleeping through the night on a regular basis! Peyton is starting to "talk" quite a bit now. His new favorite sound in his vocabulary is the occasional cough as well as "yelling" at Dale and I. It's really amusing to watch his expressions when he does it! Dale believes he takes after me when being so animated, and I agree! He started rice cereal as of last night and surprisingly did very well with it! He really enjoyed the new texture and feel of it in his mouth. We'll be starting veggies in a few weeks (once we get this cereal thing down good!).
Peyton sends his love to everyone! I promise I'll be better about updating sooner this next time!
Take care,
The Kozaceks
