10 weeks old!

Hello All! Sorry it's been a while since I've updated everyone on our little man....I'm on vacation. Dale left at the beginning of August for his first trip on the Cutter Shamal and we left for Tennessee about two weeks later (and we're still here!).
The pictures above were taken a few days ago at my Dad's house. Peyton is "swimming" and sitting on a float. He is having a great time here in Tennessee meeting all the family and being passed around like a sidedish, but all the excitement in our very simple lives has made both of us very tired since we're not used to it. Peyton and I both miss Dale very much, he always smiles and laughs when I have Dale on speaker phone. He definitely knows his Daddy's voice!
There have been lots of small "milestones" Peyton has reached since the last update. He rolled over from his belly to his back and continues to hold his head up better and better each day! He laughs a lot now.....and it melts my heart every time! He is also batting at objects more when they hang in front of his face, as well as making lots of noise in his crib when he wants up (but he doesn't cry about it!). He is sleeping great through the night! He usually goes down at about 9 and wakes between 4 and 6 to eat, before falling back asleep for a couple of hours. He has also started noticing his feet and staring at them (especially when I put colorful socks on them!).
At his two month appointment he weighed in at 12 pounds, 10 ounces and 24.5 inches long! The pediatrician said he is healthy and a very long baby! He also had three shots that day and took them like a champ! He cried at first and stopped when I held him and snuggled him....and was asleep within five minutes! His next appointment will be at four months, where once again he will have more shots!
I hope everyone is doing well, we are! Dale will be home soon and we can't wait! We'll update again in a month or so.....
Love,
The Kozacek's
